About Lake Jefferson
For 90 years people of Jeffersonville and surrounding areas have enjoyed boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and watching beautiful sunsets over the lake.
A hotel once stood at the spot of the current outlook and beach. The Lake Jeffersonville hotel was the crown jewel of the village up until its closing in 1998. Sadly, four years later, a fire burned the hotel to the ground.
Lake Jeff is also a crucial home for wildlife.
But this is what Lake Jeff is beginning to look like.
